We all know that change is important, but the most recent U.S. presidential election provided ample evidence that we aren’t clear how to make it happen.
Perhaps we are looking in the wrong place for change. Maybe, real change happens from the bottom up. It happens in our neighborhoods and communities.
This week we explore how people are coming together to build communities for the future with the resources they already have.

Margaret Wheatley is an speaker, writer and organizational consultant. She’s been a Peace Corps volunteer in Korea and a public school teacher in New York. She’s been Associate Professor of Management at the Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University, and Cambridge College, Massachusetts.
Meg is the founder of the The Berkana Institute, a global charitable foundation. Berkana works in partnership with a rich diversity of people around the world who strengthen their communities by working with the wisdom and wealth already present in their people, traditions and environment.
Her book, Leadership and the New Science,
